Ulysses is a handsome 17yr old Appaloosa gelding who is looking for a new and loving
home. He stands approximately 15.3 hands and has spent the last six years as a
school horse, ridden by advanced-intermediate riders in an English lesson program
and on trails. He has developed arthritis in his left knee and can no longer keep up
with the demands of the lesson program. At this time we are adopting Ulysses out
as a companion only. Ulysses has good ground manners, cross ties, and stands nicely
for the vet and farrier. He is very friendly, and absolutely dotes on attention. He
is also great with other horses and would make a perfect companion - in fact, he
has a very best equine friend whom he will miss a lot, so it is important that he go
to a home with other horses. Ulysses is a wonderful, sweet horse who deserves a
“forever” home and a loving new owner. Could you be the one he’s looking for?
